This is a question that is asked in every transaction. When do I get my keys and when can I move in?
In Arizona, keys are given out after the property is funded AND recorded. If everything is going smoothly, and the property funds on the closing date, recording will be done on the close of escrow date but typically not before 2 or 3 in the afternoon.
If you are planning to move stuff in to your new home, it is best to plan to move in the day after you are closing instead of the same day. It is common to not get keys until late afternoon the day you close.
